Grand dog fix

Needed to get out for a granddog/family fix today.. ..haven’t been since Xmas eve...... 30 min or less with each.  ( more in extra.. in the box are the Swedish figures that Fiona raced .. she says they need to spend the year here with their families) ) They are so happy to see us.  Careful not to knock Nanna over :-)
What did we learn?   Those two HS seniors are less than excited about school...Nik says the teachers were all teary eyed talking to the kids about this weeks events but he insists there has been so much upset in his short life with this president and  covid etc that he wasn’t the least surprised, , took the capital takeover in stride and he’s wondering why bother with some of these classes...he’s ready to be off somewhere..  (. since I’ve heard several reporters asking about what do we tell our children, I was curious).  Of course they were interested in the social media bans.., but know kids on both sides....   Will ask Fiona later....she was taking a shower.   Kirsten got her vaccine and we’re all ready when it becomes available...not yet for us in this state altho we are next in line.     there may possibly be a basketball season in April but there are no gyms open now.  Or the weight room at the HS .    .it’s no wonder these teens don’t feel happy.....they are wondering if there will be a prom and graduation ceremony.
