It’s That Time Again

Well a boring but very productive day.

Did a lot of pre work in readiness for back to work tomorrow - I really don't want to go back but I know it will be fine once I get started. It will seem like I have not been on leave in a couple of hours.  Got back to back zoom and teams meetings all day, most of them booked in my absence. We are suppose to be checking that this doesn't happen so I may sort it tomorrow.

I also spent the evening doing the accounts for my Mum for my report to the Office of the Public Guardian.  I had been putting this off but did it quite quickly as I have been updating it throughout the year when I paid Mums bills. It just makes me quite sad that she has this dreadful illness that it has spoilt both her and my Dads twilight years.   I have a cheque book that has been sent to me to use but  I am really confused again though because it is in my Mums name.  It always throws me that I am expected to sign her name rather than mine on behalf of her. It actually really upsets me because her name is all she has left and I have taken that as well as eroded all of her rights.  :-(

Dementia is so cruel.
