Ice

This night's very low temperatures and clear skies meant the water buckets we keep to water the potted plants outside were frozen solid. We got used to having a thin ice layer form on top, but this was solid all the way through.
We tried to protect the plants, but we are still"central Europe winter cold" newbies...
