Murky at MGH
Our walk choice was driven by what was likely to be least slippery. Most of the low level snow has gone and we are enjoying a balmy 3 deg C or so but the frost is still deep into the ground. It feels like the top inch has thawed and the core of the planet is still frozen. Any surface water and partly melted snow and slush remaining is frozen and pretty lethal if you step on a patch unwittingly.
Later, I had to fix something(s) for my mother in a socially distanced manner; CCTV camera, kitchen drawer, toilet seat, cat box and Mrs SJR had prepared a couple of meals, frozen, for her. (As she does most weeks)
