Natural fairylights

After yesterday's fog, we had gorgeous sunshine and I managed to get in a glorious amount photography, starting with a very laid back blackbird on my hedge (see extra).  

When I out for my walk soon afterwards, all the ice droplets on the trees and bushes were melting creating huge amounts of sparkle. The water dripping off my favourite silver birch was particularly striking mix of droplet sparkle and rain density drippage... :)
