A nice place to rest

Today I drove out to meet one of my nieces for a 8,5 K walk together. Through forest and along heather. About halfway through we came to a crossing with about five benches, but only one was situated directly in the sun. We quickly occupied it. 

My niece brought thingys, don't know in English, to sit on. Very thoughtful! At the end of the walk she gave me one of them, so in future I can sit everywhere. 

She also brought a thermos of hot tea and she had baked a cake for the occasion. What a treat! When we started getting cold we were on the move again.

A great day out, walking and catching up.
