Day 28 Charity Challenge - Barkisland

After studying the public rights of way map yesterday evening, I had plotted  a new 7.5 km run route which took me very close to the historic Howroyde Hall.

Unusually, there is an absence of "public footpath" signs on the driveway to the hall but plenty of PRIVATE KEEP OUT signs on either side of the drive.

It's difficult to see the hall itself from the path but this derelict barn is in the adjacent field.

It was nice to find a new route within 3 km from home.

Unlike yesterday, a dull day with not much sun.
