Are you looking at me?
After yesterday’s snow and ice adventure, the weather today has returned to rather gloomy cloud - though we did have a brief patch of sunshine during this morning’s walk.
We’re fortunate to live on the coast, and also have a rural hinterland rich in beauty - though due to Welsh exercise from home’ rules, most of it is out of bounds to us right now.
The valley which took us up to Saturday’s snow runs through rich farmland, and today’s return trip blip is one of a flock of sheep farmed there. The farmer had just arrived with a trailer of food, and this ewe was obviously eager not to miss out as she rushed up the hill. I’m trying to discover the breed. They have beautiful flowing coats and handsome features - definitely a class above the usual Welsh varieties. Any suggestions gratefully received!
