BUT BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!

We are so glad that in this house we have a real fire.  It's not a log burner but a very stylish Jetmaster.  When we read the details of this property nearly two years ago we thought it was a gas fire.  We were thrilled that it wasn't.

Sitting round the open flames of an evening brings us cheer. During this awful past year we have watched the whole series of Downton Abbey twice and Poldark so far once.  Interspersed with other programmes it has kept us sane.

There are only so many times you can watch 'Allo allo!!

Another very gloomy cold day with the heating on and I know it will get warmer next week of course bringing rain.

Matthew still with us with no sign of him moving.  Oh well it keeps me busy!!   Stay safe dear friends, stay at home, it's the only way.  Sending love xxxxxx
