Grizzled Shelly at Breakfast

Shelly’s growing a beard. It’s already soft to the touch though a bit grizzly looking. I like beards and am waiting to see what it will be like when all grown out.

This evening as I was hunting for antibiotic ointment for a burn Shelly got baking bread, I decided to check the car to see if there was any in the first aid kit. That’s when I discovered that the accessory battery was dead. Bother! It wasn’t that long ago when I replaced it. As I grumbled with frustration I made one more try in the medicine drawer and found the neosporin in a little plastic box. That improved my mood. On Monday I’ll take care of the battery.
