Saturday: Fun Alley

I had a haircut this morning and, on the way back, bumped into a colleague from the French Consulate.  I ran into her boss on Thursday and my Korean colleague earlier in the week.  I am taking all this as a positive sign that the larger universe is ready to interact again and that soon we will emerge from this and be able to live life normally.

Pending that, however, we went over to North Shore.  We had intended to visit one or two of the new breweries up there but they were all full so we just ended up at Green Leaf which we visited before.  We’re not a fan of their IPA which tastes of lemonade infused with weed.  

We were going to meet H&J for dinner at Joey’s Shipyard but there was an hour’s wait so we ended up having a pretty good Thai meal instead.   

And there were good murals on North Shore.
