Late Bloomer

This schlumbergera started blooming in November with white flowers.  Then about 2 weeks ago, these red flowers started blooming and more white buds have started to open as well.  I knew there was a red plant in the same pot but it hasn't bloomed in a few years.  I think transplanting it must have helped. 

I am grateful that I took the time to do a craft project today.  I got a kit for Christmas to make a diamond painting LED light.  In the extra the first panel shows the finished "painting" without the light.  The second is with the light on.  It was very relaxing to do a mindless project while listening to an audiobook.  I needed that! :-)
