Here we go again – Day 5

We have had such a lazy day. We haven't even walked 10,000 steps today. Normally we walk at least 20,000. Usually a lot more. It never ceases to amaze Ann how different I am from MollyCollie. I'm just so chillaxed and adaptable.

We got up late. 8.30am. Well that's late for us and then I trekked around on the icy pavements for 40 mins. Don't know what the temperature was but it's colder than Ann can ever remember it.

This afternoon on my walk it felt even colder. At least for Ann it did. I like cold weather. I love, love, love, snow and today I spent a lot of my afternoon walk rolling around on snowy grass. And then I found this tree stump to jump up onto.

….............And for the rest of the day, I've been snoozing in my bed and Ann's been sitting on the sofa..................................

However, Ann has managed to tick one thing off her, 'Things to do in 2021' list. ...........And that is............. she's done her very first online supermarket shop. This might not sound like a great achievement to all you very techie, clever BLIP folk. But believe me, this is a great achievement for Ann?! She's having a glass of wine to celebrate this great achievement!!!

Tried to do a Tesco shop but they didn't have any slots left for January so have signed up to Asda. It took her an hour and a half to buy 6 bottles of wine, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, soap powder and some dental sticks for me?!!!  Roll on Wednesday when all this should be delivered. Mmmmmm.................. Quite often when Ann goes to the supermarket I go with her. She can do a big shop, take me to the park to play with my ball for 45 mins and still be home within an hour and a half??!!

To be honest, Ann didn't really need any of those things but there was a £40 minimum spend. What she's going to do from now on; is do an online shop once a month or so, and buy all her wine bulky items. She needed to set up a 'safety net' for us in case she gets COVID or has to self-isolate or can't go out. And actually if she can order all the bulky, long lasting stuff online, that means that she can 'shop local' for everything else, thus helping the local community. It's not like we can go out in the car at the moment anyway. Our car park is like a skating rink?!!

Soooooo.................. that's been our day. I didn't eat my breakfast until I came back from my afternoon walk at 3.30pm and I'm lying flaked out in my bed again now.

Nothing else to report. See you all tomorrow.

Toodles xxx
