Caught in the sun

Thank you for your comments yesterday. I wasn’t alone. It seems that the constabulary is question has “received advice” for which it is “very grateful” and has reviewed its approach to managing people who drive locally for exercise. With the guidance being so very unclear, consistently is impossible. I had written more originally, but decided it would be better not to go on and on and on and on...

There were plenty of people out walking today enjoying the splendid winter sunshine. Such a welcome change from the early part of the week. The ground was very boggy in many places especially towards the end of the walk where boots which had been cleaned in long damp grass finished up worse than they were when we started.

I could have chosen a shot more indicative of the route and views from today. However, this made me smile and we all need that. I hope it makes you smile and that it’s a suitable candidate for Silly Saturday hosted by LoisBiz.

Susan said she wasn’t quite sure about it, suggestive as it is of a trophy on the wall of a baronial castle. The patterns made by the ironwork is also interesting.
