Instruction in Oral Hygiene, Zanzibar

Our local partner in Zanzibar promotes the importance of oral hygiene in schools and rural communities in order to prevent tooth decay and gum disease, which left untreated can be detrimental to health and wellbeing. Here a medical officer is teaching School Health Monitors how to recognise the early signs of tooth decay and gum disease.
