Wimbledon Common

Mr C and I decided to have a walk over Richmond Park late morning but when we got to the entrance we normally go in, by the golf club and with a parallel path that takes you into the park, the gates were closed. Of course, this will be for the golf club but we hadn’t realised you couldn’t get in to walk to the park. 

We did an about turn and went onto the common instead but, oh my, it was far too busy for our liking. Taking me straight back to memories of the first lockdown when I didn’t go out very often for this exact reason. Nevertheless, Ruby enjoyed her walk.
