Song Thrush

You can tell how rare song thrushes are becoming when you google for thrush and get page after page of advice on nasty itches and fungal infections... 

Anyhow, the light was dreadfully flat on our walk, but I took the long lens anyway. 

I managed an almost decent but ultimately soft shot of a Yellow Wagtail by the river, and the rear end of a Long Tailed Tit. Of course there were dozens of shots of far too friendly Robins, and the Heron has been back several times already.

I liked this fellow. They were reluctant to prove their name by serenading me as I walked home, but not a bad shot albeit a tight crop.
