The world of (not so) tiny things

This little guy is called a Cowboy Beetle. Don’t ask me why. Quite common around here - and quite impressive and noisy when he flies. He’s around an inch in length - so it’s a bit freaky if he flies into you. Actually- this one was quite large so I actually think it’s a she. Was a gorgeous sunny day today, and we went for a walk around the harbour - had trouble choosing my blip - sunny habour, kids jumping off the pier, a Water Dragon or a bug? In the end the wee bug won.
