Leading the Parade!

We all pitched in for our Lifestyle Village at the Lake Hayes AMP Show today, helping raise money for the new Charity Hospital in Invercargill. Some folk baked wonderful biscuits & slices, others entered in the flowers & vegetable etc competitions, all very successfully too. Super fun. I was more than happy to help ‘man’ the tent, welcome visitors and chat about what we were there for.

And the image? One of our residents led the Grand Parade with his Vintage Volkswagen, suitably decorated with yellow balloons. I thought it looked exceptional against the background of elegant Brow Peak.
