Old Faithful

My old dog affectionately known as 'Mama dog', she is 19 years old and seems to have pulled through another winter. There was a few days in the depths of winter when she lost the use of her back legs and we thought that was it but the weather improved and so did she! When I got back from Andalucia she welcomed me home with such enthusiasm bouncing around like a puppy dog!
Where ever I'm working on the land or in the garden she is always nearby, never obtrusive but just quietly there keeping an eye on me, a loyal and faithful companion indeed!
Very productive day today again, stacking firewood, painting windows, cutting grass, shoveling out compost and gathering a bit of donkey manure for the vegetable beds, we just have to make the most of the dry weather.
