Peter Pan & Friends

I had a lovely time tonight, meeting up with old friends. Brian and Roz helped us to cut the peat last year, but have come up from England too early this year. Despite the fact that we don't have the "unpaid labourers" (!) this year, it was really lovely to see them.

Brian is a psychiatrist who is involved in a very interesting project - a study of Peter Pan along with his creator. I look forward to reading the book when it appears.

Pat was able to tell them about the connection JM Barrie had with this part of the world, in that he wrote the screenplay for Peter Pan when staying in a remote cottage - sorry, can't remember the exact location. I think that Brian and Roz are now off on a pilgrimage to stay at the same cottage.
