Artichoke

A dried artichoke in our garden. It has passed through the green, then purple flowering stage. It is the most autumnal thing we have in our garden as we enjoy a continuing warm summer. We are sitting here at 10pm with the doors open, enjoying the cool breeze from the inlet. It is too warm to go upstairs to bed.

We had our first swing dancing lesson tonight, and are getting up from time to time to try to embed those basic Charleston steps into our muscle memory. Hilarious at times!
