Thank you all for your messages of support. After a stressful 24h, the garage rang late afternoon to inform me that the car should be ok, although there is still an electronic sensor sending an error message. I will sleep better tonight although it is only material and money and irrelevant in the current situation. I rang a (70+) friend/colleague from California today to wish him a happy new year to learn that he is just out of hospital where he spent 10 days in a ward with several people dying next to him.
