Calm and bright

We listened to the States of Guernsey media briefing at lunchtime and heard that only absolutely essential travel to and from the island is now allowed. There was rather a lot of travel over the Christmas period and those returning are in isolation for 14 days. The vaccinations have begun and by the end of March it is hoped that just over 40,000 doses will have been administered. The island has a population of 65,000. So I think 1/3 of the population might be covered by then.

This afternoon I had my check at the dr and thankfully all is well. After the check we drove into town where the light was delightful. We didn’t have a camera in the car and so the trusty phone had the job. I think iphone photographs are very reliable these days, although I love my camera.
We watched this little boat coming in and it was very cold! We also liked the light at the fishing quay and I didn’t know which to blip so it is in extras.
