CRYSTAL STALACTITES

The temperature's been hanging right around the freezing point for the last few days. Some roof snow is slowly melting and growing some frozen stalactites off the rain gutters. Shot from inside through the front room window in very low light.....ISO 51,000+.

BTW.....it's not a good idea to suck on icicles. All sorts of critters poop on your roof and icicles are rife with bacteria of all sorts. On the other hand, it is a lot of fun to throw them into the air and watch them smash into a thousand pieces when they hit the pavement.
