Hadleigh Castle.

We had a frost but no sparkles.  Ground stayed hard but cloudy and dull all day.  Took myself off to Hadleigh Castle to give a record of how dull it was and hoped a bit of mist might add atmosphere.  None of that happened.  So glad I took a parting shot of a new Information board erected since I was last there because when I got home and looked at my work all pictures were REALLY dull.  I know that's what I set out to record but there are limits.
This is what John Constable said of his visit and made a lovely painting of his day out all without the benefit of a camera.  Clever man!
