Decaying

I took a short wander through the estate today. My target was  some snowdrops seen on previous ramblings, but they still have some time to go before they flower. However I spotted some white in the undergrowth under the wellingtonia trees, and on closer inspection found a clump of Stinkhorn fungi. They are well past their best and, fortunately, not too smelly, but make for an interesting image.
