Lockdown

Another 12 hours of a&e, and although our covid numbers are rising, thankfully it's nothing on what other places are experiencing.

Back in March at 8pm on a Thursday we were out at the hospital entrance applauding which was great for moral and the sense of being in this together with collegues from all over the hospital as well as ambulance staff and the helicopter heros on the roof.

However, like many NHS staff none of us felt the desire to go out to clap on it's return this evening.
Great idea first time round, now it just feels gimmicky.
