The finest Anchovy Paste?
A dull overcast morning. Had to turn off the radio news this morning; simply too depressing. So I will shortly take my authorised daily walk but, before I go, here is my daily blip. It's a 'poor man's' antique given to me over 40 years ago by a friend who delighted in finding old Victorian rubbish dumps in Cambridge. Current value, according to recent Ebay sales, just £12. I really like the design and the attempt to persuade the user that they are buying something very exclusive! I found this clip which shows an example being found on the Thames by a 'mudlarker' which gives a detailed history of the company if you would like to delve further.
