Panoing

Unlike most of you, I'd never done one o' those auto smart phone panos before. So, in keeping with my theme for January, I thought I'd have a go. I'd done plenty of panoramas in the past (manually in Photoshop) but never before as easily and as error free as this. GOTTA SEE LARGE.

As much as I rabbit on about the shortcomings of phone cameras, I have to admit that I do like the panos they make. Just don't tell anyone I said that. Okay?

The extra just goes to show how impressively panos can simulate wide angle distortion. 

By the way, I have cropped both images to my favourite aspect ratio of 2.2:1, which (as it happens) is the original TODD AO movie release ratio. Just sayin'.
