2021 Thursday — Silhouettes & Soup

Jars of soup on the countertop and a silhouette on the wall, not much of a photo, but it’s one of the high points of our day.

Tempeh Chili was on the menu at the Farmers Market Inspired Soup booth this week. It is one of our favorite flavors, so we purchased three jars and over the next 10 days we’ll have soup three times.

We walked the pups at Tidelands Park in the Back Bay, went to the Farmers Market, and then watched the larger than normal waves at the pier. The wind blew all throughout the day.

At just about sundown, we were watching the sky and I was mixing a batch of cornbread muffins when my phone rang with a FaceTime from granddaughter Ashly and littlest great-grandson RJ.

Mr. Fun prepared a pot of beans and it simmered on the stove all day.

That’s it for the first Thursday of January.
