How grateful I am that I have a fantastic job and a wonderful family to prevent me from becoming too utterly depressed by yesterday's news from Capitol Hill. How grateful I am, too, that I have such fulfilling hobbies that I can pursue, such as reading, running and painting. Yesterday I was delighted that I was able to paint what transpired to be my favourite of the three JMJ concert paintings I have done. I enjoyed doing it so much that I have decided to do a few more concert paintings by various music artists I admire. I'm planning to do Gary Numan as Berserker next; such a powerful image that was.
