Ice ice baby

She wouldn't get up this morning. I was pretty sure she was awake and eventually went in to her. She buried herself and said she didn't want to do school again. But she got up. It was more painful than yesterday and I achieved almost nothing for work, again. I need it to settle, fast, so I can actually make an attempt at my job. They are, however, being unceasingly gracious.

She'd been looking forward to the Boris walk all afternoon. The sky obliged us with a glorious sunset, and the ground was covered with frozen puddles. She smashed every one she found, declaring herself to be Chief Ice Breaker Upper.

The evening was a disaster. We neither of us had much patience left.

But I cuddled her to sleep.
