The Big Twig

It hardly seemed worth decorating the Big Twig with a Christmas theme, especially as its place had been taken by the nativity scene, but I threw on a few bits and bobs once I realised that it could still be seen from the kitchen window.

A busy day today, what with a click-and-collect (and who knew that, besides adding a handling charge of £1.50, Tesco now expect one to load everything from their crate into ones own bags in the car boot?), a U3A geology meeting and choir. But, sadly, also a webcast of the funeral of my friend, with whom I share a birthday - she had braved many years of increasing ill health culminating in a Covid infection from hospital admission.
