Keep The Noise Down

Disappointed with this image. I had a very expensive camera, very expensive lens, a stunning frosty morning, I was out before sunrise, I was alone and unfettered by people, children, dogs, Donald Trump or other distractions. What could go wrong? I was so focussed on taking a pretty picture I forgot to check my ISO setting. Light was good, got good readings, took a picture that was ostensibly not bad. But now I get home and load it on the computer and check the histogram again and enlarge the image on screen and ,..oh no. It is so noisy. I give in. 
You can see why I gave up weddings after 10 years of anxt. It is so easy to get lost in the moment and forget the basics.
I might take up drawing, at least I can rub out my mistakes. But you still need lead in your pencil.
