Upside down jigsaw

Rather than wiggle the jigsaw along the pencil line whilst removing chunks from the bench below, I have mounted the tool under this board with the blade sticking up. I can now put the workpiece down flat and guide it along from above.
Works quite well and a lot easier to follow a line. I cannot take credit though, my father made one similar about 25 years ago for cutting Perspex and thin sheet metal. However the jigsaw it fitted has long since been recycled and the saw table as well.
