A dull day is a good day

Today the weather was dull and uninspiring. I thought about if for a while and realized we should embrace all days. Our lives are a combination of the good and the bad. We need those contrasts. What would a glorius spring day, with flowers starting to bloom everywhere, be with nothing to contrast it with? What would summer be without the contrast of harsh winter days? What would the long days of summer be without comparing them to the short days of winter? The weather today turned out to be inspiring after all. The contrast between good and bad or bright and dull apply to a lot of things we experience.
