Today I decided to take a picture of blackness as I came to learn that over the last week, two of my old high school classmates passed away in separate unrelated instances.

One passed away to suicide and one to homicide.

As we are filled with whys and what ifs of these situations, we also contemplate the fragility that life truly is.

My heart goes out to their families and those near and dear.

Hug the ones you love, and tell them how you feel.
