A day of prepping for incoming input sessions.  The problem with those courses being 6 weeks long and then usually a break in-between (and in this case two weeks over Christmas and new year) is that when I come back to the input sessions at the start of the course again, I've forgotten how exactly how I did them the time before!  No more just having a quick run through in my head of the session and making sure I have the right handouts for me and photocopies for the trainees!   Do I have the right slides and do I need to tweak them?  Any animations to fix?  Do I need links for websites to copy and share?  Any word documents to share? Is the order still logical after the tweaks?  Ah, better remember to tweak the word documents too to avoid ambiguities.....and it goes on.   I don't miss all the photocopying and stapling of the handouts though for f2f sessions and sometimes for 18 trainees! 

Other than that, two shortish walks, and an abandoned dinner plan when my preparation took much longer than I'd anticipated and so we ended up having a carry out from a local Chinese restaurant, recently discovered. 

Got home to hear about the utter chaos in the US.
