Wood turned vase

made from an old Totara fence post.
A friend made this using a wood turners lathe.  We were with him when he was given the totara fence post so we were very interested to see what he had done with it. He has kept the integrity of the original post by only smoothing off parts of it and leaving some rough pieces and the lichen that was growing on it.
