Welcome mat

We dutifully paid the $3 parking fee, and walked on the nature trail at a nearby marina. There were the usual suspects: herons, egrets, cormorants, frogs. The river level is quite high, some of the path was underwater, and we had to back track. Good to get out to the fresh air... The path was lovely with the green moss carpet.
I’m adding an extra of some boathouses.
