Late Bloomer

Because I spent 2 weeks on the couch, on my back,  I didn't even plant this Amaryllis until after Christmas.  It has come around pretty fast.  

What a day in the history of the U.S.!  I am incredulous, disgusted, disappointed and yet in some ways it all makes sense.  This president has motives that do not have anything to do with American's best interests.  He is a sick man and what he orchestrated today is a disgrace to democracy and to all that is good about America.  In my opinion, he should be removed from office today, sent to an institution that can deal with his sickness or illegal acts.  To say "I love you" to people who stormed our Capitol building, an act of domestic terrorism, is nothing short of treason.  There you have my rant. Can we hope for some level of healing with the new administration, with the slim majority in both the House and the Senate?
