A light, delicate snowfall overnight left half an inch of snow in pretty much every branch this misty morning, then the sun came out.

Mid afternoon as results came through about the Georgia Runoff, I was thinking... cool, good start to 2021, some hope across the pond. Then... like I knew something would happen, but not that, and not that easily. Sigh...
