Palm enclave

Not much direct sunlight here, but the palms seem to thrive on it. Not sure if the UVA light is filtered out by the Alsynite roof panel, or the UVB, or both, but there's not a burnt frond-end in sight. Maybe I should fashion a broad-brimmed hat out of one of those panels, to avoid sunburn. As long as I still got a good daily dose of Vitamin D. In this wide brown land, chronic lack of the latter seems to be adversely affecting at least as many people as skin cancer does. Too much sunscreen and not enough baring of skin to the sun?
