Lakeshore morning

Paperbark trees (Melaleuca species) grow on the shoreline of Lake Ainsworth. It's a freshwater lake, even though separated from the ocean only by 100m of beach and a low dune. 

Today is very warm (30 degrees) and humid (75%). Daily walks are best in the early morning or late afternoon. Rain and thunderstorms are approaching right now, with up to 100mm of rain forecast over the next 2-3 days. I may have to photograph indoors for tomorrow's blip.
