'What I'm Reading'..................!

What does a good Sunday afternoon need???
A good book.....tea.......and Lemon Cheesecake!!!

This is Maeve Binchy s last book....to those of you who may or may not know Maeve was one of our best known and best loved Authors.....
She died unexpectedly last year to the great sadness of all who knew her and loved her writing.....!
This book was with her publishers when she died....
so for me anyway (I have all her books) it is very special....I'm reading it very slowly as I don't want to finish it knowing it's the last one...
She was the Master Story-teller.....simple but very real characters who we could all relate to and all believable...
Her characters all ran seamlessly from one book to the next....interacting just as in 'real-life'.......
She will be greatly missed as she was a Mentor and inspiration for a lot of our young Irish authors....
She was also a great cat-lover......!

Other news.....cheesecake is lovely ....turned out perfectly set this time....
haven't heard yet how the Choc Cake went...
and Kitty is annoyed that I didn't Blip him again today...
well, as I told him tomorrow is another Blipday....
