ON THE WAY HOME

Whichever way we walk in our neighborhood, we usually walk this way
or return along this street. Today, it felt like an early Summer day.

This scene is a bit deceptive.
The situation is dire here in Southern California, in regards to COVID.
Every day the news is more tragic.
It has hit the African American & Hispanic
population the hardest, for complicated reasons. Every 10 seconds, someone is infected in LA. The hospitals are beyond
capacity & there is reports of oxygen shortages. There are outbreaks in grocery stores, COSTCO & fast food restaurants,
probably more widespread than reported.

Those of us who can just stay home are the lucky ones. Maybe the blue sky in my Blip
is sign of HOPE.
