School

Day one.. 

This morning we re-arranged the kitchen to make school - we have a table that is our designated school table, easy access cupboard space for craft, books etc... and a school sign -I had visions of it being beautifully decorated but there wasn't much traction for that. 

The only way though this is to be annoyingly positive all the time.  We've cracked some work, for both of them, which went quite well (small argument over maths which ended with me using chocolate as a bribe to complete it, which I don't think is an approved method). 

Two walks with the puppy and the boys. I've also done a three mile run and another puppy walk.  The watch tells me I'm on 10,000 steps and I didn't have it on for the run or first puppy walk.  

Today I'm grateful for: 
The gusto with which the boys have embraced the new school arrangements and just got on with things 
Two puppy outings with the boys (they are chaotic, dreadful for training a puppy, but necessary to keep everyone sane and exercised) 
Lovely chat with Granny, because we all need our mums
