Writer’s Group

This evening at 7.30pm.

For this we have to present an image entitled ‘old school’. The tutor will allocate each of us an image from another student. We will have an hour to write a short story, poem or narrative about the content of the image and it can be serious, lighthearted, quirky etc.

My image is my husband’s old Samsung phone (this model commonly known as a ‘builder’s phone’ as you can basically throw it at the wall and it won’t break). It is very old school as it’s only for calls and texts. And you can listen to the radio on it too and he liked that. You must admit it has a solid look to it. Nothing fancy - just basic and reliable.

So I will know in 20 mins what my subject matter will be. And then I will have to shift my brain into fantasy gear. Yeehaw
