Ice!

Yesterday's layer of ice from the wheelbarrow is still lying on the gravel, looking like broken glass. 

Just as cold today, so I lit the fire before lunch and have enjoyed its toastiness all day.

Friend June phoned to thank me for my Christmas card which arrived today!!!  It was posted well before Christmas and she lives about two miles away!
